Directions to the Panetta Institute

NOTE: The Panetta Institute’s mailing address is different from our physical address. As a result GPS and other electronic mapping systems will not provide accurate directions. We encourage anyone visiting the Institute to use the directions listed below.

From Highway One

• Take the exit for the main entrance to CSUMB/Fort Ord/Lightfighter Drive.
• Move immediately to the left lane.
• Proceed for 1/10 of a mile.
• Turn left onto Second Avenue.
• Proceed for 1/2 of a mile.
• Turn right onto Inter-Garrison Road.
• Take your first left into Parking Lot 86.
• The Panetta Institute is located in Building 86-E.
• The suites run A-E and are marked by alphabetical signs on the glass doors.

From Salinas

• Take Blanco Road toward Marina.
• Turn left onto Imjin.
• Proceed about two miles.
• Turn left onto Second Avenue at the last stop light before Highway 1.
• (You will see a new shopping center with REI, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond stores.)
• Proceed about one mile down Second Avenue.
• Turn left onto Inter-Garrison Road.
• Take your immediate next left into Parking lot 86.
• The Panetta Institute is located in Building 86-E.
• The suites run A-E and are marked by alphabetical signs on the glass doors.

From Highway 101

• Take Highway 156 West toward the Monterey Peninsula.
• Proceed for approximately 4-miles.
• Highway 156 West ends at Highway One and merges onto Highway One South.
• Proceed South on Highway One for approximately 10-miles.
• Take the exit for the main entrance to CSUMB/Fort Ord/Lightfighter Drive.
• Move immediately to the left lane.
• Proceed for 1/10 of a mile.
• Turn left onto Second Avenue.
• Proceed for 1/2 of a mile.
• Turn right onto Inter-Garrison Road.
• Take your first left into Parking Lot 86.
• The Panetta Institute is located in Building 86-E.
• The suites run A-E and are marked by alphabetical signs on the glass doors.
