In 1999, the series theme was the impact of the “Information Revolution" on public policy and society. Capacity audiences were able to hear and question participants such as Netscape founder Marc Andreessen; Washington Post political correspondent David Broder; noted psychologist and writer Dr. Joyce Brothers; Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Telecommunications & Information Larry Irving; and former White House press secretary Mike McCurry.
