2003: Governing in Crisis – The Role of the Presidency, the Congress and the People

 

The theme for the 2003 Panetta Lecture Series was “Governing in Crisis – The Role of the Presidency, the Congress and the People.”

The series addressed the different roles of the main players in our democracy. Noted journalists, two former Speakers of the House and presidential advisors shared their perspectives on the crisis in Iraq and Afghanistan and the impact on our nation.
